I am from Scotland, and decided I would like to buy a property in Florida to have somewhere warm to go for the winter. I contacted Alan about a property I was interested in which he had listed for sale on his company website earlier this year. He then phoned me and gave an insight into the buying of property in the US, which is completely different to Scotland. He made everything so simple, and regularly sent updates on properties I might be interested in. Once I had decided on a particular apartment complex, he sent me information on every apartment which came up for sale there. He even visited the complex to check it out for me, as I was buying it unseen, and photos on the web do not always give a true representation of the place. He then submitted mutiple offers on apartments for me until I finally got one. All I had to do was complete and sign one very short set of papers. Alan then arranged a lawyer to take care of the purchase and the deed work. The purchase was completed in less than 3 weeks. I have been buying properties for over 25 years now and Alan went way above and beyond the normal duties I have experienced from estate agents. He made the whole process so simple and couldn't have been more helpful both during the process and since.
